Dive into an immersive, hands-on exploration of the daily rhythms and traditions of farming. This interactive educational experience facilitated by our Farm and Camp Staff.

Week 1: June 29-July 3: Farming Camp! Do you love farm animals and taking care of them? If you don’t mind getting your hands dirty,  then this is the week for you! Campers will learn how to start a new garden bed, build healthy soil using compost, start plants from seed, care for perennials and do daily animal chores with our farmers.

Week 2: July 6-10: Wonderful Wetlands! Just beneath the surface of a stream, pond, or vernal pool there is a hidden world teeming with life. We will explore and search for the numerous creatures that live in our wetlands throughout our farm property.

Week 4: July 20-24: Animal Engineerings!  Bird nests, beaver dams, and beehives, oh my!  We will explore the intricate designs of wildlife homes and creations and get our minds thinking as we use the engineering design process to create helpful tools and structure for the farm.

Week 5: July 27-31: Animal Arts! Using our own sheeps wool  we will explore how to — felt, weave, and dye natural fibers sourced on-site.

Week 6: August 3-7: Forest Explorers! Lace up your hiking boots, pack your field guides and binoculars as we explore our 35 acres of forest and trails! Learn to identify trees, plants, birds and bugs! Build shelters, make maps and create scavenger hunts!

Week 7: August 10-14: A little bit of Everything!  We take all our favorite camp activities from the summer and combine them together in this fun filled week.  This is a great week to choose if you can’t decide which theme you like!

    Daily Camp Structure

At our outdoor Farm and Forest Camp, each day is thoughtfully designed to provide engaging, age-appropriate activities, exciting new experiences, and plenty of opportunities for fun and learning. Here’s what a typical day looks like:

Morning Meeting: We kick off the day with an all-camp gathering to welcome campers back for another amazing summer adventure. This is a time to connect with counselors and fellow campers, review the day’s schedule, and get excited about what’s to come.

Morning Activities: After Morning Meeting, campers break into small age-based groups (12–15 campers) for engaging activities tailored to their age and aligned with the week’s theme.

Club Time: Campers choose their favorite activity in the afternoon with options changing daily.  These activities might include:

Club Time activities may or may not align with the week’s theme, offering variety and choice for every camper.

Woods Time: A favorite part of every day! The entire camp gathers for unstructured, creative play in a special area of the woods. Campers engage with natural materials, following safety rules while building stick forts, creating imaginative games, searching for salamanders, and exploring the wonders of the forest.

All-Camp Activities: These weekly highlights bring all campers together for fun and camaraderie. All-camp activities include:

Visiting Instructors: Throughout the summer we will feature an enriching visit from a guest instructor such as a farmer, artist, musician, or educator. These special guests provide unique, hands-on learning experiences and memorable activities for campers.
