Programs at the Farm
At Joppa Hill Educational Farm, our mission is to preserve a working farm that provides enriching educational experiences, fosters community connection, and cultivates a shared appreciation for New Hampshire’s agricultural heritage and natural environment. Through a variety of programs, we offer hands-on opportunities for people of all ages to engage with the land, animals, and sustainable farming practices. The Farm is a place where curiosity is nurtured, community is strengthened, and a love for nature and farming is cultivated.
Camps
Our camp programs offer children ages 5 to 12 a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in farm life while getting outside and learning about animals and agriculture.
Field Trips
Field trips are fun for all ages and can be customized for your learning objectives, from farm life, plants, and animals to gardening, where we get our food, and more.
Paint and Play with Miss Jen, LLC
Classes offered at the farm by Paint and Play with Miss Jen include: Hike and Craft, Science at the Farm, Farm Builders and Farm Artists.
Farm Explorers Afterschool
Our Farm Afterschool Program gives kids the chance to roll up their sleeves and join in real farm life! Each afternoon includes hands-on farm chores, outdoor nature explorations, and creative crafts that spark curiosity and connection. It’s a fun and engaging way for children to learn, grow, and play while experiencing the rhythms of the farm.
Animal Storytime at the Farm
Join us at the farm for Animal Story Time! Gather with our friendly animals as we share farm-themed tales that spark imagination and connect kids with the wonders of nature. Perfect for young readers and animal lovers alike.
Appropriate for ages 6 and under. We will read a story together and visit with our farm animals.
Days: Thursday mornings in October
Time: 10:15-10:45am.
