Over the past few years, the farm has come alive with music, educational and community programs, a sold-out summer camp, and so much more. This exciting growth would not be possible without the support of our wonderful volunteers, staff, the volunteer board of directors, and you, our generous donors!

While our farm is free to visit, we appreciate all donations to help support our operations! Operating our farm costs over $40K each month, and we receive no funding from the town or state. Your donations make what we do possible!

Only through our community’s support can we continue providing the experience you all have come to expect and enjoy from the farm whether on a regular visit or during our special events. We are a registered non-profit, and 100% of every donation goes to operations.

Farm Facts

Here are a just a few examples of our operating budget:

  • Our farm animals cost $15,000/year to feed
  • Vet, shearer and farrier expenses per year approximately $10,000
  • Farm insurance $12,000 per year
  • Port-a-potty $6,000 per year
  • Dumpster $4,000 per year

​This does not include many things that help make the farm stay open and beautiful including staff salaries, summer camp operations, electricity, gas and mainteance of property, fences, and equipment.
