Company Community Service
Select a date for you and your employees to roll up your sleeves and help out at the Farm – we have LOTS to do, from gardening and property maintenance to administrative and development projects.
Want to encourage your employees to do community service on their own? Encourage them to take advantage of our volunteer opportunities, so they can learn about something they are interested in and then put their new skills and knowledge into practice volunteering at JHEF.
Host a Fundraiser to Benefit the Farm
If corporate giving is not in your business plan this year, you can still help support our mission with a small fundraiser of your own. How about a “Flannel Friday” or “Dress Down” day?
Employees contribute $1 to dress down, and proceeds benefit JHEF. There are any number of days to celebrate and promote environmentalism, from Arbor Day to Earth Day – have a bake sale or start a donation jar!
If you run a retail business, you can host a “Round Up” promotion by asking customers if they would like to round up their purchase to the next dollar, or by $2 or $5 to benefit the Farm’s mission and programs. We can help provide you with all of the promotional materials and social media coverage for your event.
