Star Gazing Party with 4-H
Calling all sky watchers and star gazers! Do you have an interest in learning about the mysteries of the night?
Date TBD in January, 5-8:30pm
While gazing at the night sky, you will be guided in:
- Constellation identification
- Naked eye observing
- How to identify planets
- How to tell the difference between a star and a planet
- Binocular observing
- Basic telescope skills
No previous astronomy or telescope experience or knowledge is necessary.
Please dress warm and bring a flashlight to walk to the viewing spot.
